Menachinone long chain MK-7 is the most valuable subtype of vitamin K. The preparation has in its composition VitaMK7®, that is, vitamin K produced and patented by the biotechnological company Gnosis S.p.A. VitaMK7® is a natural source of vitamin K, which was obtained using Bacillus subtillis NATTO. Bacillus Subtillis Natto is a strain of bacteria that causes the fermentation process of soybean in a traditional Japanese Natto dish. VitaMK7® has a positive opinion of EFSA (European Food Agency) and is approved for sale on the European market.
